Mock-ups
1:
The darkness around the model creates a dark and depressing atmosphere which suggests that the film is about a character with a problem which is not good. the swirling colours on the characters face suggest that he could be on drugs as it is psychedelic and shows that he is tripping out. the lights in the background being blurred and stretched suggests that the character feels like he is moving fast and his life might be going to quick.
2:
In this mock-up the character is surrounded by bright psychedelic vibrant colours. This suggests to the audience of the poster that it is a film about drugs. the darker colours around the model suggests that the character might be depressed or not with it.
3:
In this mock-up the main character is surrounded in darkness suggesting that they are depressed. The model is slouching in the bottom right corner of the image which also suggests that the character is depressed or going through a hard time. the open tunnel suggests that the character is transitioning between his drug self and his normal life.
4:
In this mock-up I used a slow shutter speed to create a dragged effect to the image. This suggests that the characters life is going by very fast due to his drug issues. The darkness surrounding the character also suggests that they might be depressed.
Evaluation of processes
When taking my photo shoot's I made sure that I followed my recce. This meant when taking the photos under the bridge I made sure I took them at times when the cycle lane wasn't busy. However we did have some cyclists cycle through the tunnel which meant we had to stop for about a second of two. Luckily the ground was not wet meaning my model would sit on the floor willingly. There wasn't any broken glass bottles on the floor meaning we didn't have to brush anything up. I didn't use a tripod for the shoot as I didn't want the camera to be perfectly straight, giving a raw feel to the picture, which relates to my idea of someone on drugs.
